How It Works

Deliteful is built for fast, predictable, deterministic file processing using isolated execution and strictly temporary storage.

1. Upload your files

Upload a single file or a batch of files. Uploaded files are stored temporarily on Cloudflare R2 solely for the purpose of processing and secure result delivery.

2. Choose tools or build a workflow

Apply a single deterministic tool or stack multiple tools into a workflow (for example: clean → normalize → convert → compress). Each file is processed through the same defined steps.

3. Deterministic processing on Modal

Processing runs inside isolated Modal serverless Python environments. These jobs are fully deterministic, contain no AI-based behavior, and do not retain data after execution.

4. Credits are calculated and applied

Credits are calculated per file and per workflow step using fixed base costs and file-size multipliers. All credit costs are whole-number values and are summed exactly across all files and steps.

5. Download your results

Once processing completes, secure time-limited download links are generated for your output files. Availability depends on your current plan and its retention window.

6. Automatic cleanup

Uploaded and generated files are automatically deleted from storage based on your plan’s retention window:
Free & Starter: 1 day
Pro: 2 days
Business & Enterprise: 3 days

Cleanup runs automatically. Files are never indexed, analyzed, or used for AI training.
