Merge Multi-Channel Sales and Inventory Excel Sheets Into One Master File
E-commerce managers pulling sales exports from Shopify, Amazon, and a wholesale portal know the problem: three channels, three file formats, three column layouts, and a weekly report due Friday. Deliteful's Excel Combine Sheets tool stacks all of your channel exports into a single consolidated worksheet so cross-channel analysis can actually begin.
Each sales channel exports data in its own schema. Shopify calls it 'Lineitem quantity'; Amazon calls it 'Units Ordered'; your wholesale portal uses 'Qty Sold'. Even if you standardize your own reporting template, the raw exports never match perfectly. Manually aligning these columns before building your performance dashboard wastes hours every week and creates a maintenance burden every time a channel changes its export format.
Deliteful reads headers from the first row of every sheet across all uploaded workbooks and outputs the full column union. Each channel's unique columns are preserved; rows from channels lacking a column get empty cells. Enable the source-file column and every row is tagged with its originating channel file — essential for filtering and attribution in pivot tables or BI tools.
How it works
- 1
Export from each channel
Pull your .xlsx or .xls sales or inventory exports from Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or any other channel.
- 2
Upload all exports to Deliteful
Drop all channel files in one job — multiple workbooks and multiple sheets per workbook are all processed together.
- 3
Tag rows by channel
Enable 'Include source file name' so every row is labeled with the channel file it came from for attribution filtering.
- 4
Download and build your report
Import the combined sheet into your reporting template, BI tool, or pivot table dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I combine inventory sheets from multiple warehouses into one master inventory file?
- Yes. Upload the inventory export from each warehouse and enable 'Include source file name' to tag each row with its warehouse. The combined output gives you a full cross-warehouse inventory view in one sheet.
- What if channels use different SKU column names?
- Deliteful preserves all column names as-is. If Channel A uses 'SKU' and Channel B uses 'Product ID', both columns will appear in the output. You'll need to reconcile these in your reporting layer — Deliteful does not map or rename columns.
- Can I combine weekly sales sheets into a rolling monthly or quarterly dataset?
- Yes. Upload all weekly export files at once. If you enable 'Include source file name' and name files with the date or week (e.g. 'sales-2025-W14.xlsx'), every row retains its period tag for time-series analysis.
- Does the combined output work with Shopify's import format?
- The output is a clean flat .xlsx that can be used for internal analysis. For Shopify bulk imports, the required column schema must match Shopify's import template — the combined sheet would need to be reformatted for that use case.
